++++Podcast ist online++++

Seid gespannt! Alles Liebe,

euer BigSibling Kollektiv

You can now listen to our exciting panel discussion from the action day against racist police violence!

We are very happy that Clifford and Hatice shared their knowledge and experience on “Resistance and Action Strategies against Racist Police Violence” with us despite the changed form of the event.

To make it easier for you to listen, we have split the podcast into two parts. In the first part Hatice tells how her brother Benali Ilter was killed by the police, the repression she and her family had to experience and the ongoing struggle for justice.

In the second part, Clifford and Hatice talk about political activism, privileges and how they can be used in activist contexts and the importance of forming alliances.

We have used the last week to prepare this podcast for you, we hope you enjoy it! You can also find a transcript on the website; more translations will follow.

Despite Corona, we can’t stop to draw attention to racist practices, to support each other and to develop new forms of exchange.

In the next days we will compile and upload some articles about the murder of Benali Ilter.

If you haven’t done it yet, please support and share the current press release of the Initiative Against Return Centers (https://www.rueckkehrzentrenschliessen.org/blog/quarantane-in-traiskirchen) and stay informed about what is happening at the EU borders and here in Austria.

We are working on preparing even more audio content for you!

Be curious! All the best,

your BigSibling collective
